This is a blog all about gaming, its my pleasure to say I am an incurable gamer, I like nothing more than sneaking off for an hour or so with my keyboard and mouse in hand, and frag till my hearts content.
I also have a partner in the form of my lovely lady and the father of three beautiful girls whom I love very much, but this blog is about something seperate from real life so I will not dwell on my family life, and how my family, and friends in my life have had the patience to persevere with someone like me. Whom, even though surrounded by (with out a doubt) the most important things in life, still feel the need to be better at something as trivial as my name on a screen and the position of it in comparison to those around me.
I strive to be a better gamer, I read tips, practice, and watch videos trying to 'give myself an edge'. I try to balance this with my study, as currently I am studying for a degree in IT, something I would love to acheive being from an era when 'O levels' were around,and to be honest my highest aspirations. Never having attended 'higher education' it was a decision I made around three years ago, and haven't looked back since.
I'm interested to find out if anyone remembers the sideways scroller that had a hyperspace button that turned every enemy into a vibrating space invader-type graphic that used to zoom in to your position even if you were off screen, only quick wits and some pretty rapid button bashing used to get you that little bit further?
